White River Trout Fishing - Year-Round Fishing!

Fishing
Winter Fishing

Cotter, Arkansas - Trout Capital USA offers year-round trout fishing with all four seasons producing almost equal success. Call 1-800-364-GAME (4263) to order a fishing license from Arkansas Game & Fish, buy it locally or online.

Visitors often take a traditional float-fishing excursion. A White River fishing guide will "get you on the fish" and provide all your needs.

White River Fly Fishing

Three to five pound brown trout are common, but the record brown is just over 40 pounds. Rainbows of 11 to 16 inches are plentiful. Cutthroat and brook trout can also be found. There's plenty of public access available and excellent shore or wade fishing depending on water levels.

Visit the Arkansas Game & Fish Commission website to download your own copy of all the fishing regulations and check weekly fishing reports.

Call for water levels and power generation activity every day: (870) 431-5311.
