Cotter Heritage

Cotter’s Anglin-Tinnon Railroad Workers Memorial - with two cabooses, a conductor’s statue, a history of the town, and names of railroaders engraved in stone - explains Cotter’s role at the turn of the 20th Century. Located in Big Spring Park, it pays tribute to the strong-willed people who built the railroad through Cotter over one hundred years ago.

This colorful history helped preserve the integrity of the community through good times and bad. Early railroaders and their descendants still live in Cotter and help form the foundation for today’s town. Learn about the Rainbow Arch Bridge and historical Youth Center.
